Restarting Live Mic With Audio Engine

PlayoutONE's new Audio Engine takes over many of the functions previously managed through other applications, including Studio Monitor. One of those is handling LiveMIC audio at the studio end.

Occasionally, LiveMIC may require a restart to resolve an issue. To do that for stations using the Audio Engine:

  1. On your PlayoutONE server, press the microphone icon in the bottom right corner of the Audio Engine window
  2. Press 'Stop LiveMIC'
  3. Press 'Start LiveMIC'

The connection will then reset, hopefully clearing any issues with LiveMIC.
