Unable To Open A Window

Created by Jason Carr, Modified on Thu, 14 Mar at 6:36 PM by Jason Carr

Sometimes Windows can have a bit of a wobble, and when you try to open a Window such as the Playlist/Log, Media Finder or Quick Keys it doesn't appear. This is due to Windows opening this Window on a screen that actually doesn't exist. There's an easy way to fix this though:

Step Description
1Hover over the main PlayoutONE application icon on your taskbar
2Right click on the top left corner of the window which you can't see
3Choose the Move option
4Press the left arrow key on your keyboard
5Move your mouse (you'll now see the window will have snapped to your mouse)
6Click in the location where you would like the window to be located, it will then snap to that location
