To enable the TCP Server within Data Controller so that other applications can send commands via TCP.
- Click the Settings button from the top bar of Data Controller.
- Go to the Integrations Tab
- Click Add Button
- Choose TCP Server from the Service drop-down menu
- Fill in the port number for the Server to listen on
External applications can then send any command to Data Controller by sending a command via the TCP port.
| Data Controller Machine IP or Name | The machine name or IP address of the PC where Data Controller is running. |
| Port | The Port set in Step 3 above |
| Command | The command must match a command entry in the Command Matrix |
